SaveOnGroceries was built by a Fort Mill resident who got tired of not knowing which store was cheapest. So I started tracking it myself — and decided to share it.

How prices are collected

Every week, I visit or check prices at ALDI, Walmart, Harris Teeter, and Publix in Fort Mill and Tega Cay. Prices are recorded by hand for the same item size and brand (or closest equivalent) at each store.

For items where stores carry different brands, I use the store's lowest-priced equivalent. For organic vs. conventional, I track both separately where available.

Prices are updated every week, typically on Monday. Sale prices and loyalty card prices are noted when available.

The stores

ALDI — 3665 Vandora Springs Rd, Fort Mill. Typically the lowest prices on most items. Limited selection but high quality store brands.

Walmart Supercenter — 1151 Stonecrest Blvd, Tega Cay. Competitive prices and widest selection. Good for one-stop shopping.

Harris Teeter — 867 Stockbridge Dr, Fort Mill. Mid-premium pricing. Strong on fresh produce and VIC card sales.

Publix — 928 Gold Hill Rd, Fort Mill. Consistently the most expensive store, but included so you can see the full picture of what you might be overpaying.

SaveOnGroceries.ai is owned and operated by Nio Innovations LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company. It is an independent price-comparison project — we do not sell groceries, process orders, or take a cut of anything you buy.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ALDI, Walmart, Harris Teeter, Publix, or any other retailer named on this site. All store names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Prices are recorded by hand and refreshed weekly. Between updates they can change without notice and may differ by store location or at the register, so please treat every price here as a guide and confirm in store before you buy.

Your privacy

Short version: we don’t want your personal information, and we don’t sell it. No account is needed, we never ask for payment details, your grocery list stays on your own device, and we never share your data with advertisers.
